Izabela Lewińska completed her BSc (2017) and MSc (2019) theses at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw in the field of Analytical Chemistry.

In 2025 she obtained a PhD degree from the University of Warsaw. Her research focused on the development of paper-based sensors for creatinine sensing at the point-of-care. During her PhD studies, she was a visiting scholar at University of Granada (Spain) and Colorado State University (USA). Dr. Izabela Lewińska authored 13 peer reviewed publications, 1 book chapter and 1 European patent. She received START fellowship for young researchers from the Foundation for Polish Science.

From the beginning of May 2026, she is a visiting researcher at Gdansk Tech Electromaterials Group. She focuses her research on the development of a microfluidic patch for electrochemical sensing of metabolites in sweat.
